The Village of Cold Spring Police have reported that sometime between 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, a vehicle parked on Rock Street near Main Street in the village was broken into. Unknown persons removed a lap top computer, GPS unit, digital camera and a phone. No force was used to enter the vehicle, although the vehicle owner stated that the doors were locked. Anyone who may have any information is asked to contact the Village of Cold Spring Police at 845-265-3407 ext. 22. The police remind residents not to leave valuables in cars and to keep vehicle doors locked.Â
