Friends of Boscobel bus trip open to members and non-members alike

The volunteer organization for Boscobel House & Gardens, The Friends of Boscobel, has organized a spring day-in-the-country bus trip, and it is open to both members and non-members. Join Friends to visit the 16th Annual Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens at Glynallyn Castle in Morristown, N.J.      Guests will tour the historic Glynallyn, a 16th-century English castle-inspired mansion built 1913-1917 by George Marshall Allen on Millionaire’s Row. The castle’s 40 rooms and lush gardens feature designs from 60 of the area’s top interior and landscape designers. After touring the mansion and strolling through the gardens, guests can dine at the Castle Cafe and shop at the Crown Boutiques, located on the estate.

The bus will leave Boscobel 9 a.m. sharp (arrive 8:40 a.m.) on Monday, May 21, and will return to Boscobel at approximately 5 p.m. Space is very limited. Seats may be reserved at Boscobel or on the Boscobel website.  FOB Members $67.50 (show ID at check-in); Non-Members $75. Both rates include round-trip bus transportation, plus castle and grounds admission.  For more information, call 845.265.3638.
