ArtFull Living Tours End With Silent Auction

The ArtFull Living Designer Show House will conclude on Oct. 14. ArtFull Living, an inspiration of Cold Spring Arts, takes a model home at Glassbury Court, a vibrant new development for adult living (55+) in Cold Spring, and presents the visions of seven award-winning interior designers for a home that takes gracious living to a whole new level with the integration of visual art in a variety of ways.

There will be one last interior designer lecture on Oct. 11 from 6 – 9 p.m. Join Interior Designer Nicole Ashey for Cocktails and a lecture on good design. The price is $25 and reservations are required. For more information or to reserve a spot call 914-815-3133.

In closing there will be a silent auction on Oct. 12, 13 and 14. Previews for the auction will be Oct. 6 – 9 and Oct. 12 from 12 – 4 with a closing reception on Oct. 14 from 6 – 7:30. The closing reception will celebrate the closing of the open studios and the designer show house, both projects of Cold Spring Arts. Final Bidding will take place from 6 – 7:30 with a wine reception. Profits from the auction will be given to two organizations, the Born This Way Foundation and Garrison Art Center. Both organizations are focused on the empowerment of children through art and education. We are very pleased to have these organizations be recipients of profits. Born This Way Foundation is a national charity organization educating kids and empowering them with anti-bullying messages and acceptance of others’ differences. Garrison Art Center is a local nonprofit that serves the community to educate and empower kids through art in Putnam County.

The ArtFull Living Show House is open to the public daily (closed Wednesdays & Thursdays), 12 – 4 pm, and running through Oct. 14th. Just 5 minutes east of the Village of Cold Spring, Glassbury Court at Cold Spring is located at 3370 Albany Post Road (Route 9). There is a suggested $10 donation for the show house tour. No children under 10 permitted in the show house.
