Fundraiser to benefit the library and Cold Spring Lions

New York City’s Doug Ferony will swing through the music of Frank Sinatra and The Rat Pack at the Desmond-Fish Library Friday, June 7. The concert will include the Doug Ferony 16-piece big band and also feature Nadav Snir Zelniker on drums performing selections from Buddy Rich-style music and songs from the Big Band era.  

Ferony (dougferony.com) has released 10 full-length CDs featuring an array of cover songs from many genres, in addition to the occasional self-penned original.

The concert will take place June 7 at 7:30 p.m. with doors open at 6:45 p.m. General admission tickets are $20, with proceeds benefiting the Cold Spring Lions Club and the Desmond-Fish Library. The Desmond-Fish Library is located at 472 Route 403 (corner of Routes 9D and 403) in Garrison.
