Join educators from the Taconic Outdoor Education Center for Maple Sunday. The Maple Sunday Pancake Breakfast, which includes a backyard maple experience, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, March 9. Visit the sugarhouse and observe both traditional and modern methods of collecting and boiling sugar maple sap.
The event includes taste testing as well as a crosscut saw demonstration, a traditional method of woodcutting. Costs are adults $8, children $6. Pure maple syrup will also be for sale.
