Cold Spring-area resident Tess Dul will perform in Hrosvitha, directed by Julia Schneiderman, part of Muhlenberg College’s New Visions Directors’ Festival. A member of Muhlenberg’s Class of ‘15, Dul will perform in the role of Hrosvitha. New Visions runs from Sept. 27 through Sept. 30 in the College’s Studio Theatre, Trexler Pavilion for Theatre and Dance.

The New Visions Directors’ Festival showcases the talents of senior directing students and features rarely produced, avant-garde works for theater. It offers a rare opportunity for audiences to see the work of the next generation of up-and-coming theater artists.

Hrosvitha rediscovers the life of the first Christian playwright, whose views of the world didn’t always harmonize with her religious beliefs.

Muhlenberg College is a liberal arts college of more than 2,200 students in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Muhlenberg is one of only eight colleges to be listed in the Fiske Guide for Colleges for both theater and dance. Tickets and information are available at muhlenberg.edu.
