Dramatic story commemorates African-American History Month

The Howland Public Library will show the dramatic film Rosewood in celebration of African-American History Month on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. Directed by John Singleton and starring Jon Voight and Ving Rhames, this film is a dramatization of a horrific racist lynch mob attack on an African-American community in 1923. This film, rated R, is roughly two and a half hours in length.

The event is free and no registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.
