Irma C. Scofield, age 91, of Ogdensburg, New York, formerly of Cold Spring, died on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Riverledge Healthcare and Rehab in Ogdensburg. Born in Mount Vernon, New York, on June 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Sewell and Henrietta (Smith) Case. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Hampton B. Scofield, in 1992.

Scofield was a retired executive secretary with Powers & Haar Insurance Company in Cold Spring. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Philipstown Republican Committee, Philipstown Garden Club and the Putnam County Historical Society and was a leader with the Girl Scouts of America.

Survivors include one son, Peter (Christie) Scofield of Scotia, New York; two daughters, Ellen (Michael) Seidman of Ogdensburg and Susan Scofield of Cold Spring; and one brother, Francis (Vera) Bedell of Livingston, New York. Five grandchildren and one great grandson also survive.

Services will take place at the Clinton Funeral Home, at the corner of Parrott and Pine Streets (21 Parrott St.) in Cold Spring, at 11 a.m., Monday, June 1. Interment will follow in the Cold Spring Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clinton Funeral Home, prior to services on Monday, June 1, from 9 to 10:45 a.m.
