Gwen Laster forms “creative strings” group
Gwen Laster, the violinist and composer, has started a Creative Strings Improvisers Orchestra in Beacon that will meet for the first of six Saturday sessions at 2 p.m. (beginners) and 3 p.m. (intermediate) on March 12 at the Center for Creative Education. Violinists, violists, cellists and bassists are welcome. The cost is $315 for all six sessions, or drop-ins are $60 per session.
