12:30 p.m. – Hit-and-run crash on Cross Street.

1:30 p.m. – Caller to headquarters reported harassing text messages.

3:30 p.m. – Caller into headquarters reported harassing text messages. Both parties spoken to.

7:30 p.m. – Caller on East Main Street reported new tablet stolen from residence.

Thursday, Dec. 29

12:55 a.m. – After a traffic stop on Verplanck Avenue, Hector Colon, 39, of Beacon was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He also had an active warrant out of Newburgh.

Friday, Dec. 30

8:30 p.m. – Caller on Main Street reported hit-and-run crash.

Saturday, Dec. 31

5:30 a.m. – Caller on Main Street reported attempted burglary of business, thwarted by alarm.

10:30 p.m. –Joseph Debella, 37, of Beacon was charged on Church Street with public exposure.

Saturday, Jan. 1

1 a.m. – After a traffic stop on Route 9D, Benjamin Galloway, 25, of Beacon was charged with speeding, operation of motor vehicle by unlicensed driver, possession of marijuana and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Katelyn O’Neil, 26, of Newburgh was charged with possession of marijuana.

3 a.m. – Daniel Beltran, 36, of Beacon was charged with forcible touching, criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

4:45 a.m. – Caller on South Avenue reported a dispute with a family member and receiving harassing text messages.

6:05  a.m. – After a traffic stop on Willow Street, Shanice Sgorbissa, 23, of Yonkers was charged with driving while intoxicated and operation of motor vehicle by unlicensed driver.

Monday, Jan. 3

7:15 a.m. – After a traffic stop on Route 9D, Kim Garland, 54, of Newburgh was charged with speeding in a school zone and suspended registration.

9 a.m. – An assault was reported on North Avenue; investigation continuing.

2:30 p.m. – Caller into headquarters reported banking fraud.

6:30 p.m. –David Bruno, 39, of Beacon was charged with Aggravated Family Offense, assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief.

Tuesday, Jan. 4

1:30 a.m. – After a traffic stop on North Avenue, Maurice Kingwood, 45, of Beacon was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
