O’Donnell

Allegedly broke into Cortlandt house twice

New York State Police on May 3 arrested Kathleen S. O’Donnell, 51, of Cold Spring, after she allegedly burglarized a home in Cortlandt. She was charged with two felony counts of burglary.

Troopers from Cortlandt were dispatched after a 911 call reporting a burglary in progress at a home on Adele Court in Cortlandt. Police said surveillance footage showed O’Donnell, who is related to the victim, inside the home. O’Donnell’s vehicle was spotted in Cold Spring by a member of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Police say it was the second time O’Donnell has been accused of burglarizing the residence. She was also charged on May 1.

O’Donnell was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail or $10,000 bond. She was scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
