Photographer Markie Baylash, best known for his Humans of Beacon project, has his second exhibit, My Heroes Have Always Been Strong Women, on view on the Howland Library in Beacon.
There will be a preview with the artist on Sunday, May 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. and a reception on Saturday, May 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. The portraits of women are more formal than his usual work and collects both posed and candid shots of women he knows.
