Dutchess County will host

Dutchess County will host a picnic from noon to 4 p.m. at VFW Post 170 in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, Aug. 18, to honor veterans.

The event is free for any Dutchess County veteran and his or her guest. RSVP by calling 845-473-2500, ext. 1307. The VFW is located at 1 Violet Ave.
