Robert J. Pearce, 65, of Garrison, died Sept. 25, 2018.

Born June 4, 1953, in Dobbs Ferry, he was the son of Richard and Mary (Pelton) Pearce.

Bob worked for 40 years in maintenance for Columbia University in Irvington before retiring. He was a life member and a past chief of the Continental Village Fire Department, serving for more than 30 years.

Bob enjoyed the outdoors, riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, kayaking and spending time with his dogs.

His survivors include his wife of 43 years, Theresa (Cristello) Pearce of Brant Lake, and two sisters, Christine Hofer (Andrew) of Arizona and Connie Pearce of Ardsley. Funeral services were private.
