Wednesday, Oct. 2

After a traffic stop on Lafayette Avenue, German Balbuena, 30, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Abijah A. Spence, 44, of Beacon, was charged with criminal contempt after the alleged violation of a court order.

Sunday, Oct. 6

Anthony P. Verdile, 56, of Beacon, was charged with indecent exposure.

Monday, Oct. 7

Caller on South Elm Street reported damage to her vehicle due to a hit-and-run.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

A caller on James Street reported packages missing off her front porch.

Friday, Oct. 11

Curtis L. Rhodie Jr., 49, of Beacon, was processed on a bench warrant.

Monday, Oct. 14

Shaquan D. Smith, 26, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with burglary, criminal obstruction of breathing and assault.

Tuesday, Oct. 15

After the report of a fight on Fishkill Avenue, Herbert L. Holiday, 39, of Beacon, was charged with criminal mischief, assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.

Friday, Oct. 18

At about 4:45 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Liberty and Bridge streets after a woman alleged that property had been taken from her and that she had been pushed from a moving vehicle. Officers arrested Naije Perrette, 20, of Beacon, and Julian Rivera, 19, of Hyde Park. Each was charged with felony robbery and misdemeanor reckless endangerment and held on $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.

After further investigation by detectives, Gualberto Negron Jr., 19, of Beacon, was arrested and charged with felony robbery, misdemeanor reckless endangerment and misdemeanor menacing. He was arraigned on $25,000 cash or $100,000 bond. Finally, Shakerra N. Gibson, 24, of Beacon was arrested for obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.

Sunday, Oct. 20

New York State Police troopers arrested Kelly A. Denicolais, 52, of Beacon, for allegedly driving under the influence. They said she was traveling on Herbert Street when she was stopped for a traffic violation.

Shanice M. Sgorbissa, 25, of Newburgh, was processed on a bench warrant.

Monday, Oct. 21

A caller on Main Street reported his neighbor was harassing him over littering outside of his residence.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

Stephen A. Bellinger, 57, of Hyde Park, was processed on a bench warrant.

Thursday, Oct. 24

Kevin Garcia Jr., 27, of Newburgh, was processed on a bench warrant.

A caller on South Davies Terrace reported fraudulent transactions posted to her bank account.

A caller on Main Street reported backpack stolen from her parked car.

Sunday, Oct. 27

A caller on Fishkill Avenue reported a fight between two individuals over prior incidents.

Ellesse A. Brady, 28, of Beacon, was processed on a bench warrant.
