Boys’ soccer takes sectional crown
The Beacon High School boys’ soccer team, playing in its first sectional final in 20 seasons, upset No. 1 John Jay of Fishkill, 2-1, on Friday (Nov. 20) to take home the Section 1, Dutchess County championship trophy.
The No. 2 Bulldogs defeated No. 3 Lourdes, 1-0, on Monday (Nov. 16) to reach the title game.
