Beacon police officers responded to 600 calls, including 23 auto crashes and nine domestic incidents.

Thursday, Aug. 1

After a report of a suspicious person at Tompkins Terrace, Daniel R. DeMers, 55, of Beacon, was processed on a bench warrant and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Friday, Aug. 2

Robert E. Morganfield, 55, of Newburgh, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Sunday, Aug. 4

A caller on Melio Bettina Place, reported missing items from a larceny.

Wednesday, Aug. 7

After a traffic stop on Verplanck Avenue, Mohammed J. Ansar, 37, of Beacon, was charged with driving while intoxicated.

Thursday, Aug. 8

Heather C. Cabrera, 25, of Beacon, was processed on a bench warrant.

After a call from Eliza Street, Christopher J. Riley, 37, and Jessica L. Schneider, 40, both of Beacon, were each charged with trespassing.

A caller on Liberty Street wanted two individuals known to him to leave his property. Individuals were advised to leave and not return.

Saturday, Aug. 10

After a report of a fight on Main Street, Steven D. Wang, 34, of West Park, was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and harassment.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

Corey A. Jones, 55, of Beacon, was processed on a bench warrant.

Saturday, Aug. 17

After a report of a disturbance on Eliza Street, Lauren DeLucia, 35, of Beacon, was charged with criminal mischief.

Erik O. Santiago, 23, of Poughkeepsie, was processed on an arrest warrant.

Police responded to an address on Eliza Street to investigate a report that a female had been stabbed. After finding a girl bleeding from what appeared to be a stab wound to her leg, officers arrested a 16-year-old boy she identified as her boyfriend. He allegedly resisted and struck an officer in the face.

Monday, Aug. 19

A caller on Green Street reported paying to have a fence installed in her yard and the work was never completed.

Tuesday, Aug. 20

A caller on Main Street reported fraudulent activity within his bank account.

Thursday, Aug. 22

A caller on Dennings Avenue reported that his garbage cans were stolen. It was discovered during the investigation that the cans were taken by the sanitation company.

A caller on Dutchess Terrace reported receiving harassing voicemails from an unrecognized number.

After a traffic stop on Dutchess Terrace, Joseph A. Popik, 24, of Newburgh, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Friday, Aug. 23

After a report of a dog bite on Liberty Street, Brigit H. Larson, 41, of Beacon was charged with violating City of Beacon Code 99-1A (Unlicensed Dog).

Monday, Aug. 26

A caller on School Street reported a missing license plate.

A caller on Main Street reported that his wallet was stolen.

Tuesday, Aug. 27

A caller on South Cedar Street reported the unauthorized use of his car. Vehicle was recovered.

A caller reported a landlord/tenant dispute that resulted in an eviction.

Thursday, Aug. 29

A caller on Main Street reported that his mail had been opened.

Thomas D. Teeple, 47, of Newburgh, was processed as a fugitive from justice.

Friday, Aug. 30

A caller reported fraudulent activity within her bank account.
