Library will provide telescopes

The Desmond-Fish Library in Garrison will have telescopes set up for moon viewing on its lawn on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. to mark International Observe the Moon Day.

Ken Bailey of the Mid-Hudson Astronomical Association will speak about Earth’s nearest neighbor and provide a lesson on using telescopes.
