With primary election day coming up on Sept. 14, the Putnam County Board of Elections wants to give voters a chance to practice. So it’s bringing sample voting machines to Philipstown. The county staff will provide emonstrations in Cold Spring at the VFW Hall on Kemble Avenue on Monday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and at the Cold Spring Village Hall, 85 Main St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19. In between, demonstrations will occur at the Desmond Fish Library, on Route 9D at 403, on Tuesday, Aug. 17, from 3 to 7 p.m.
Those with questions about the demonstrations or election procedures can contact the county elections staff at 845-808-1300.
