 The second winter storm of the season has left Philipstown with 6-8″ on the ground with a few more inches of accumulation predicted for today. The National Weather Service (NOAA) prediction for tonight: Areas of blowing snow and a slight chance of snow before 10pm, then areas of blowing snow after 10pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 15. Northwest wind between 13 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 28. Northwest wind between 11 and 13 mph.

Local reports indicate that major and local area roads have been cleared.

MetroNorth  reports service changes on all lines with trains running on a Sunday schedule. The NYC subway reports regular service.
