Philipstown Supervisor Richard Shea, town Councilwoman Nancy Montgomery and town Assessors Anne Nichter and Gary M. Ritchie, Sr. have been endorsed by the Putnam County Democratic Party. Dave Merandy, currently serving as president of the Haldane Board of Education was also endorsed in his bid for a seat on the Philipstown town council. The announcements were made at the June 1, 2011 convention held in Carmel, N.Y.
