Seafood and History Mix at Constitution Island Barbeque

June signals the Annual Seafood Barbeque at Constitution Island. This year, the popular event takes place on Saturday, June 18, from 5 to 8:30 p.m., rain or shine.

Sponsored by the Constitution Island Association, this tented, al fresco fundraiser features a raw bar stocked with Mt. Kisco Sea Food goodies such as oysters, clams and mussels, followed by a buffet of boiled lobster, corn on the cob, salad, bread, poached salmon and fried chicken.

A raffle for a magnificent poached salmon will be held. Wine, beer and soft drinks are included in the admission cost of $175 per person.  Parking is available at the Cold Spring Metro-North Station.

The Barbeque frequently sells out; to make reservations call 845-265-8676 or visit constitutionisland.org for more details.
