Snowstorm Only Grazes Philipstown

Hits harder in Westchester and NYC

Local schools are on delayed opening this morning Wednesday, Jan. 22 in the aftermath of yesterday’s snowstorm, which did not hit Philipstown nearly as hard as Westchester and New York City.

There are no reports of road problems.

Putnam County closed all nutrition/friendship sites and adult daycare. In addition Senior Medical Transportation services are also canceled. Office for the Aging general offices will be opened.
