The Howland Library in Beacon will launch a Cards/Dungeons & Dragons Game Club for middle and high school students from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22. After its first gathering, the club will meet at the same time every first and third Friday through May.

Participants may bring cards for any game, including Magic: The Gathering, Yugioh, Vanguard and Shadowrun, or join a game of Dungeons & Dragons, which the library will provide. Beginners are welcome and a snack will be provided. The library is located at 313 Main St. For more information, email [email protected] or 845-831-1134, ext. 103.
