Survey addresses long-term needs for area

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (nymtc.org), whose co-chair as of Feb. 25 will be Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell, has asked for public input as it updates its long-term transportation plan for New York City, Long Island and Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties. The plan, which will be considered by NYMTC members in 2017, will outline priorities and strategies for the region’s transportation system through 2045.

The survey is located at surveymonkey.com/r/MCCQ8XD and will be available until Friday, Feb. 5.
