Concert set for April 15

Beahive in Beacon will host an “open hive” on Friday, April 15, with two songwriting duos: Open Book performing at 7:30 p.m. and Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers accompanied by Wendy Ramsay at 8:30 p.m.

Open Book (Michele and Rick Gedney of Cold Spring) recently released their third album, Grateful. Rodgers’ latest album is Almost There, which won the 2015 Sammy Award for Best Americana. He also was a grand prize winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and founding editor of Acoustic Guitar magazine.

Tickets are $15 when ordered online or $20 at the door. All proceeds benefit the artists. Beahive is located at 291 Main St.
