Boat tours to see Melissa McGill’s land art project Constellation, which lights up every night at sunset, begin on May 7 and continue on Saturdays and select Fridays and Sundays through October. Participants can see the installation up close, tour the Bannerman Castle ruins on Pollepel Island and watch the project light while on the Hudson River aboard the Estuary Steward.

The two-hour tours depart from Beacon Institute’s floating dock at the Beacon Waterfront, Red Flynn Road. Artist-led tours are scheduled for May 28, June 25, July 2, Aug. 20, Sept. 24 and Oct. 30. Adult tickets are $45 ($55 for artist-led tours) and $40 for children ages 11 and under ($50). For more information and to purchase tickets, visit melissamcgillconstellation.com.
