Kitchen Table Band to Play P.V.

Concert set for June 11

On Saturday, June 11, the Kitchen Table Band and Friends will present a blend of contemporary, folk and Irish music in a concert that begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Tompkins Corners Cultural Center in Putnam Valley.

The band includes Jan Hoekstra, Maaike Hoekstra, Drew Howland and Dennis Klubnick on a variety of instruments. They will be joined by Lora Lee Ecobelli, Pat Cummings and Tim Pitt. For the first time, the band will present Pallas Athene on cello and bass and Cyd Scott on bassoon.

The Kitchen Table Band has performed widely throughout Putnam County, playing annually at the 4-H Fair in July and in years past at the Hoot on the Hudson music fest at Little Stony Point in Cold Spring.

Tompkins Corners Cultural Center is housed in a historic church located at 729 Peekskill Hollow Road. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com/event/2560337 or by calling 1-800-838-3006.
