Museum program now in its fifth year

Active-duty military members and their families can receive free admission at more than 2,000 museums nationwide this summer, including Boscobel House & Gardens in Garrison, the Southeast Museum in Brewster, the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in Cornwall, the Storm King Art Center in New Windsor and the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum in Poughkeepsie, through the Blue Star Museums program.

The program, which continues through Labor Day, is open to active-duty military and their family members (military ID holder and up to five family members). Active duty military include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard and Reserve members. For a list of participating museums, visit arts.gov/bluestarmuseums.
