Accused of selling painkillers to undercover officer

Putnam County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Putnam Valley man on Feb. 22 at his home after he allegedly sold the prescription painkiller Oxycodone to an undercover officer from the Narcotics Enforcement Unit.

Christopher M. Cardillo, 31, of Morrissey Drive, was charged with three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and three felony counts for sale. He was arraigned before Town of Carmel Justice Thomas Jacobellis (acting on behalf of the Town of Putnam Valley Justice Court) and on Feb. 25 posted $500 cash bail for release from the Putnam County jail.
