Will explain how adoptions work

The Putnam County Humane Society will bring a selection of kittens and at least one dog to the Desmond-Fish Library at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, to explain how pet adoptions work. Donations of food, towels and blankets will be accepted at the library for Humane Society representatives to take back to the shelter.

Children who have earned dimes for reading will be able to donate them to the Humane Society at the event.
