From 1978 to 1982, David Freund photographed gas stations across the U.S. Nearly 600 of his photos appear in a new four-volume, slipcased set called Gas Stop.
Freund will discuss the architecture, culture and landscape of the American gas station at the Antipodean bookstore on Garrison’s Landing on Friday, Oct. 20, during a reception from 6 to 9 p.m.
