Pop-up concert for children on Oct. 28

The Howland Chamber Circle continues its series of free pop-up concerts for children at the Center for Creative Education on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m. with a program of haunting music and eerie sounds by Prokofiev, Britten and Xenokis.

The concert is free and refreshments will be served. The performers are Sam Ross on clarinet, Natalie Wren on oboe, Uli Speth on violin, Yumi Oshima on viola and Ian Murdoch on double bass.
