Naturalists from the Putnam Highlands Audubon Society will lead a free birding exploration of Foundry Cove on Saturday, March 17.  Meet at the  end of Kemble Avenue in Cold Spring at 9 a.m., and bring binoculars if you have them (there will be several available, if not).

Early spring migrants could include red-winged blackbirds, grackles, phoebes, killdeer and chipping sparrows. See putnamhighlandsaudubon.org.
