Allegedly driving on suspended license, with active warrant

A Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy arrested a Pleasantville man on April 14 on charges of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop on Route 9D in Philipstown.

At 2:53 p.m., Deputy Sheriff Benjamin Levine stopped a car with a brake light out. The sheriff’s department said a computer check revealed the driver, Andrew A. Mikhail, 24, had a suspended license. The plate affixed to the vehicle also did not belong to the car, police said, and Mikhail had a warrant for his arrest issued by the Town of Mount Pleasant Justice Court, for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Mikhail’s car was impounded and he turned over to police officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
