Desmond-Fish annual fundraiser
The Desmond-Fish Library in Garrison will open its annual book, DVD and CD sale from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, with a preview for members of the Friends of the Desmond-Fish (shoppers can join at the door).
The sale will open to the public on Aug. 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and continue daily through Aug. 27. See bit.ly/dfl-book-sale. The library is located at the intersection of Routes 9D and 403.
