Benefits children battling cancer
Love Holds Life Children’s Cancer Foundation is holding its fifth annual toy giveaway in honor of Carmen Viruet-Senato for children ages 2 to 14. Drop off new and unwrapped toys in Beacon at the Lewis Tompkins Hose Co., City Hall or the Elks Club by Friday, Dec. 7.
The group will hold a cookies and cocoa event with Santa at the firehouse, 13 South Ave., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.
