County prepares for summer jobs program

Putnam students will be able to apply for paid and unpaid internships during the summer of 2021 through the county government’s Putnam Invests in Leaders of Tomorrow (PILOT) Program.

Students who are accepted in the program, which was introduced in 2013, will work in finance, engineering, communications, information technology, health, social services and law.

To be eligible, candidates must be Putnam County residents or attend school in the county. High school juniors and seniors, and college and graduate students with a GPA of at least 3.0 will be considered.

The deadline to apply is Jan. 31. See putnamcountyny.com/internapply. For more information, call Adriene Iasoni at 845-808-1650, ext. 46625, or email [email protected].
