The Taconic Outdoor Education Center at Fahnestock State Park in Philipstown has reopened following a two-year, $6.2 million renovation to its lodge and nine cabins. Funding was provided by NY Works, along with a donation by State Council of Parks Chair Lucy Rockefeller Waletzky that paid for a new pavilion.
