  1. The easiest way to cook corn on the cob is to cut off the husks about ½ inch from the bottom. Pour water on the exposed bottom and pop it into the microwave for 5 minutes, after which you can easily peel off the husks and silks to eat. If you cook more than two at a time, increase the cooking time by a minute for every additional piece of corn.
