Fishkill Avenue project also breaks for winter
The City of Beacon this week completed milling and paving the final eight streets scheduled for improvements this year after Central Hudson replaced gas pipelines.Â
Another project also wrapped up for the winter this week: repaving, replacing drainage structures and repairing or adding sidewalks along more than a mile of Fishkill/Teller Avenue, from Fishkill and Mill Street to Teller and Wolcott Avenue. The $9 million job resumes in April; it is scheduled for completion by July.Â
Does this mean that, until April, I will be driving over the milled but unpaved 5-foot section on Ackerman Street before turning onto Fishkill Avenue? via Bluesky]
