Haldane student Christopher Junjulus has organized a team to support the Wounded Warriors Project as a community service project for the National Honor Society. The Wounded Warrior Project provides support to severely injured soldiers returning from the Middle East and gives 81 cents of every dollar raised directly to these soldiers. To raise money, the team participated in the Hudson Valley “Pushups for Charity Challenge” where people pledged money for each pushup the young men did in 90 seconds. These intrepid students raised over $1,300 to support our troops.
