Haldane and Garrison School showcase musical efforts
Both Garrison School and Haldane’s elementary and high schools held winter concerts last week (Dec. 11 and 13), and Haldane’s Middle School presented their concert Monday, Dec. 17.
The Haldane Elementary School Winter Concert took place on Tuesday, Dec. 11. The elementary chorus sang winter and Christmas songs, under the direction of music teacher Danielle Cornacchio. The beginning band and advanced band then concluded the evening, all under the direction of music teacher Debbie Contini.
Both Haldane High School and Garrison School held their winter concerts on Thursday, Dec. 13. At the Garrison School, songs of Hanukkah and Christmas were sung by both the middle school and fourth- and fifth-grade choruses, led by music teacher Karen Bresnan and accompanied on keyboard by Art Labriola. The fourth-grade band, fifth-grade band, and middle school band rounded out the second part of the concert, also directed by Bresnan.
