It seems to me the height of irony that simultaneously with entertaining complaints about the inconveniences allegedly caused by local businesses, some of the Village Board members show up to claim an award that was inspired by the very same businesses such as Hudson House, who contribute mightily to Cold Spring’s reputation and amenities.
