The Beacon Sloop Club held its annual Strawberry Fest on June 8 at Seeger Riverfront Park, including the always-popular strawberry shortcake tent. There were also information booths from nonprofits such as Common Ground Farm and the Fishkill Creek Water Alliance, vendors selling homemade crafts and food, children’s activities and live music on two solar-powered stages. Up next: the Corn Fest in August and the Pumpkin Fest in October.
