The Foundation for Beacon Schools held its third annual gala on Oct. 24 at the Roundhouse to raise money for educator grants. The foundation also honored five teachers with Innovation in Teaching awards: Erica Hughes, Edmund Trad and Allison DeLisi of Rombout Middle School, Kelly Hamburger of Beacon High School and Matthew Carpenter of Sargent Elementary.
