Beacon police officers responded in November to 555 calls, including 27 vehicle crashes and seven domestic disputes.

Friday, Nov. 1

A pedestrian on Main Street reported being hit by a car that left the scene.

Saturday, Nov. 2

Robert E. Morganfield, 55, of Newburgh, was processed on a bench warrant.

Sunday, Nov. 3

After a report of a suspicious auto on South Avenue, Wiliam R. Barrett, 64, of Wappingers Falls, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

A caller on Fishkill Avenue reported being harassed by an individual known to him.

Monday, Nov. 4

A caller reported being a victim of an internet scam.

Tuesday, Nov. 5

A caller on Melio Bettina Place reported a landlord/tenant dispute.

Wednesday, Nov. 6

A caller on Main Street reported being harassed by an individual known to him.

Shane D. Williams, 39, of Peekskill, was charged with criminal mischief, arson and petit larceny.

A caller on Main Street reported damage to a statue as a result of a hit and run. Vehicle located and driver issued tickets.

Friday, Nov. 8

After a vehicle crash on Main Street, Gabrielle L. Roberts, 69, of Beacon, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having a suspended registration.

Saturday, Nov. 9

Francis M. Cannon, 36, of Beacon, was processed on an arrest warrant.

Sunday, Nov. 10

A caller on Church Street reported harassment by an individual known to him. The individual was advised to stay away from the caller.

Wednesday, Nov. 13

Kieran J. Nemeth, 27, of Beacon, was processed on a bench warrant.

A caller on Fishkill Avenue reported check fraud.

Friday, Nov. 15

A caller on Anderson Street reported a dog bite.

Chante J. Ciregna, 43, of Beacon, was charged with violating 163-4 Sub A of the city code (“No person shall act as a vendor or hawker or permit anyone to vend wares and merchandise as described in this chapter without first having obtained, paid for and having in force and effect a license, under the provisions of the chapter”).

Monday, Nov. 18

A caller on Robert Cahill Drive reported a larceny.

Enrigue Ramos, 20, of Beacon, was processed on a bench warrant.

Wednesday, Nov. 20

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Brandon Mima, 21, of Beacon, at the Dutchess County jail, where he was incarcerated, on charges that he violated an order of protection by contacting two protected parties by telephone. Mima was charged with felony aggravated family offense, misdemeanor criminal contempt and misdemeanor obstruction of governmental administration.

Thursday, Nov. 21

A caller on Beekman Street reported being threatened by a delivery person.

Friday, Nov. 22

Officers responded to a call for an unattended death.

Saturday, Nov. 23

A caller on Liam Drive reported that packages in the lobby of her building were tampered with.

Sunday, Nov. 24

After a call to Fishkill Avenue, Richard Williams, 60, of Beacon, was charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury and criminal possession of a weapon.

Officers responded to a neighbor dispute at Forrestal Heights.

Monday, Nov. 25

A caller on Eliza Street reported damage to her car as a result of a hit-and-run.

Jaznia B. Mccrae, 25, of Beacon, was charged with criminal contempt for allegedly violating a court order.

Emilio Ramos, 43, of Beacon, was processed on a bench warrant.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

A caller on Lincoln Avenue reported a suspicious car driving past her house several times taking pictures.
