Work begins June 2

The Beacon Water Department will begin its annual maintenance of water mains by flushing fire hydrants on weekdays starting Monday (June 2). The work will continue for four weeks, following the schedule below.

During the flush, residents may experience periods of discolored water and should refrain from doing laundry until the water runs clear. If your water is discolored, run the cold-water taps until it runs clear. If you have questions, call the Water Department at 845-831-3136.
