Haldane, like many schools across the country, is celebrating Art in Education Week. At the September 7 school board meeting Superintendent of Education Mark Villanti showed off four works by students from fourth through twelfth grade. Included was a beautiful rendering of a pair of red basketball shoes by Zosia Kruk who graduated in 2010; a highly detailed black and white pen and ink drawing by Elizabeth Khadabux; a 4th grade collaboration that produced three panels depicting the Hudson River and Monet’s Bridge at Giverny created by 5th and 6th grade artists.
