Wounded service members will compete at West Point

The Department of Defense is looking for volunteers of all ages to assist with its annual Warrior Games, to be held this year at West Point from June 15 to 21. The games feature more than 250 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans representing all branches of the Armed Forces who compete in archery, cycling, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field and wheelchair basketball.

Volunteer positions include escorts, back-up scorers, assistant lane judges, cheering squad and spectators, crowd control, official greeter, parking guide, runner, score keeper, set up/clean up, social media volunteer, timekeeper, among others.
